The Role:
The Senior Practice Advisor is seated in the Employment Pathways of Mai-Wel and will be key to driving excellence in the division ensuring the team is provided support and expertise to deliver quality services
Responsibilities
- Analyse performance data across key result areas and drive continuous improvement
- Establish and drive consistent practice and enhanced service delivery
- Coach, mentor and develop capability within the Employment pathway team
- Identify need, connect, refer recommendations for social support services and identified barriers
- Provide expert advice on operations, guidelines and standards
- Contribute to the business growth and development opportunities
- Min 5 years experience in human or social services with a strong desire for your background to have experience in employment pathways
- Cert IV or above quals in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or other relevant stream
- Working knowledge of Workforce Australia programs is advantageous
- Working knowledge of legislation around Employment Services, Disability Services + National Principles for Child Safety
- An operational understanding of the impacts of the Disability Royal Commission and the Whitepaper on Employment for the sector
- Ability to train and mentor
- Bring a strong cultural awareness to the workforce
- Ability to analyse data, report and manage accordingly to drive effective operational improvements
- Skilled using MS Office suite
- Always have the participants at the heart of everything you do.
