The Role:
This is a new role at Mai-Wel, and the team are looking for dynamic individual with passion and flare to attend community engagement events and other public facing activities to represent Mai-Wel. The role primarily focuses on community engagement, promoting services and supporting participants through contract management and ongoing relationships.
You’ll have the skills and drive to follow up with leads and strong attention to detail needed to support and drive their intake journey into Mai-Wel. You’ll have sector knowledge, a passion for connecting people with disability to services to achieve their goals and the ability to engage with a number of people in the community and internally. You’ll report into the Community Engagement Specialist and see success from events into intake.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage Enquiries: Oversee and respond to new service and support referrals.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the service delivery team to ensure quality outcomes.
- NDIS Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of NDIS plans, pricing frameworks, and service agreements.
- Contract Management: Prepare and manage participant contracts, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
- Build Relationships: Proactively follow up with participants and partners to sustain ongoing relationships.
- Community Engagement: Support sector events, maintain visitation schedules and promote Mai-Wel’s activities.
- Brand Champion: Advocate for and uphold the Mai-Wel brand.
- Experience in community engagement, business development, marketing, communications, sales or events
- Exceptional communication and time management skills, with a solution-focused and agile mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of NDIS pricing, plans, and the framework.
- A Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent industry experience.
